School Profile
Steele Heights School is a vibrant community junior high school located in northeast Edmonton. We proudly serve a diverse population of students drawn from a variety of elementary schools, including our direct feeder schools—York, Soraya Hafez, and McLeod Elementary Schools. As part of the M.E. LaZerte catchment area, we collaborate closely with neighboring schools to ensure consistent and enriching learning opportunities for all our students.
Our school community is characterized by its multi-ethnic makeup, which greatly enhances our learning environment. We celebrate this diversity and are committed to fostering a welcoming atmosphere where every student feels valued and included. By embracing different cultures and perspectives, we strengthen our school community and enrich the educational experience for everyone.
At Steele Heights School, we believe that our diverse background is a unique asset, and we strive to provide a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages all students to thrive academically and socially.
