    Steele Heights School offers a number of clubs and activities throughout the year that applies to a wide range of student interests including;

    • Musical Theatre

    Students are encouraged to participate in these activities or start new clubs based on student interest.

    Extracurricular trips: 

    Each year, a number of optional extracurricular trips are planned as enrichment activities. Since these trips are considered earned privileges, students who participate should have a record of excellent attendance and positive behaviour. It is important to note that details and prices of specific trips may vary from year to year, and not all trips will run every year. The organization of these trips depend on student interest, school scheduling and cost to families.

    Welcome to Steele Heights School for the 2022-2023 School Year.  We are excited to welcome everyone back to a full, normal school year!  The entire staff is geared up to help students reengage with learning and catch up anyone who is behind.  All aspects of school life will be back this year - field trips, sports teams, assemblies, clubs, projects and special events.  We look forward to seeing all our students participate throughout the year.   Our key focus will still be on preparing students for their futures - both academically and in the workplace.  We will work to ensure all students have access to excellent teachers who will guide them in their pursuit of knowledge and skills.  At Steele Heights, we are committed to helping all students achieve their best in all they do.  We know that parent engagement is key to having students succeed and we would invite you to be active participants in your child's learning.  Together, we can ensure an excellent year for all.

2023/24 School Year Information

Steele Heights is full inthe Academic Enrichment program.  We will no longer be accepting students in the Academic Enrichment program.

For the regular program, we will now only accept resident students for Grades 8 who have newly moved into the school’s attendance area. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.

For the regular program, we are still open in Grades 7 & 9 to all interested students.

If you are new to Edmonton Public Schools, you must register online.
