STUDENT REGISTRATION
Pre-ENROLLMENT for CURRENT-EPSB STUDENTS 2025-2026
Parents or Guardians of current-EPSB student(s) will need to pre-enroll students on Schoolzone in order to tell us the school you’d like your child to attend next year. Find important dates and deadlines, and learn more about pre-enrolment, which opens at 8 a.m. on February 3, and closes March 19, 2025.
ACTIVE-EPSB STUDENT REGISTRATIONS 2024-2025
For the 2024-2025 school year, Steele Heights School is full in planned classes from Grades 7, 8 and 9, in the regular program. We will only accept resident students who have newly moved into the school’s attendance area for the regular program. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enroll in another Division school with space in planned classes.
Steele Heights School offers 6 areas of study for its students' success:
Regular Program – Our highest enrollment program, we annually have much success and maintain several years running of far surpassing the Provincial program success average. Learn more in our Programs tab, above.
Academic Enrichment Program (AEP) – Further details and support for all your Academic Enrichment Program registration questions can be found at the PROGRAMS tab above. Please see that tab above, and select its ALTERNATIVE PROGRAMS menu.
English as an Additional Language (EAL) – Families of students who are either new to Canada, or those who are now learning the English language better can discover further details of what the EAL Program can offer. Please see the PROGRAMS tab above, and select its ALTERNATIVE PROGRAMS menu.
Connections Program - Connections students receive small group instruction designed to assist them overcome behavioral patterns that affect their overall achievement. Please see the PROGRAMS tab above, and select its SPECIAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS menu.
Interactions Program - Interactions programming supports students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). ASD impacts how people understand what they see, hear and sense. . Please see the PROGRAMS tab above, and select its SPECIAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS menu.
Strategies Program - Strategies students receive small group assistance to provide them with the skills they need, based on their individual program, to be successful learners in a regular classroom setting. Please see the PROGRAMS tab above, and select its SPECIAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS menu.

NEW-to-EPSB STUDENT REGISTRATIONS 2024-2025
If your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online. Visit the Division website to learn how to register for school.
